What is the difference between Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette and Eau de Cologne?

The difference is in the amount or concentration of essences in the product. The highest concentration is in the Eau de Parfum is between 15% to 25%, Eau de toilette is between 6% to 14% and Eau de Cologne is between 3% to 5%. Therefore, the higher the concentration of essences the stronger the perfume and the longer it will last.

Why do some fragrances last much longer than others?

The first consideration is the strength of the fragrance. This will make a difference to how long it lasts.
